§ 98-62. Improperly constructed drain, water closet without water shall not be connected with sewer.

  • No person shall permit any drain to remain connected with any sewer if the work has been improperly done, and no person shall permit any water closet connected with a sewer to be used or remain connected with the sewer system without a proper supply of water connected therewith ready at all times to flush such water closet, and when any water closet is out of repair the same shall be put in good order and repair without delay. All sanitary sewer pipes and plumbing installed in all buildings and such pipes and plumbing appurtenant thereto shall be of copper, steel or cast iron. All hubless cast iron pipes and fittings are hereby prohibited.
